Nima Zomordi was born on the 8th of May 1982 in Tehran and is the fifth generation of a well-known jewelry family. During his graduation from the Faculty of Art and Architecture in Tehran, in addition to his main field, which was theater acting, he also showed interest in the categories of design and graphics. For about 15 years now, at the same time as managing the Emerald Jewelry Gallery, he has been designing collections of jewelry for this brand. The dominant style of his designs was mostly minimalist, classic and sometimes modern. One of his activities has been holding 8 independent annual exhibitions of jewelry designs during these years. The design of the Ruby Pixels comes from the 80s video games and neon red lights in urban advertising, as well as inspiration from the mosaic arrangement of Islamic patterns in this design that is visible. The main challenge was to meet the market demand for jewelry in various forms of protective symbols, transforming the natural shapes to the organic ring with the same emotion, joining performance and aesthetics beside emotional connection between the earring and the user.
