Franck Giral is a structural engineer turned architect. He is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional), as well as a real estate licensee and licensed architect in Japan. Franck started in 2020 the architectural firm ABD Architecture LLC based in Sapporo that specializes in the development and design of ski rental properties in the international ski resort Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. Franck's architectural breakthrough project is with Grand Tsuru Niseko, a 3 property luxurious villa development. Franck leverages his technical background in engineering and project management to enhance architectural design for the benefit of his international affluent clients and developers. Ski Villa
Located minutes away from Niseko's international ski slopes and surrounded by silver birches, these 3 exclusive ski rental properties boast a harmonious design with extended eaves and a light wood structure, inspired by the graceful flight of the crane, from which they derive their name, Grand Tsuru. Each offers a spacious living area with tall windows providing picturesque views, two bedrooms adorned in Japanese style, and a master bedroom featuring a large Japanese tiled bath. The staircase, bathed in light, seamlessly connects and brightens all corners of the skip floor properties.

Chalet
The site of this project faces directly the unmistakable local volcano Mt Yotei. Named Fire and Ice Chalet, this concept is inspired by this fire burning volcano covered with snow in winter and represents the contrast between Northern Japan's harsh winter and the warmth and comfort expected in ski resort's chalets. The shape of the roof and the side walls reproduces the image of two human hands joined at their fingers. The design captures the feeling of sipping on a hot cocoa on a comfortable sofa next to a wood burning fireplace while enjoying the view of the snow-blanketed volcano.
