John Helmersen has from 1985 to 1997 been working for various advertising, software and design agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Copenhagen, Navision, Kunde & Co, both as a graphic finalizer, art director assistant, graphic designer and head of design. Over a decade, from 1997 to 2011, at Bysted. A leading design- and communication agency specialicing in visual, corporate identity and interior design, as a graphic designer for customers such as national and international companies, agencies, municipalities and ministries. Since 2011, John Helmersen has been an independent designer at Design by Johns.
