Anna-Reetta Väänänen makes her nature and story inspired jewelry design at the countryside. Her jewelry brand Anna's Darling is not the most common one because of her methods, style and location. This 39 years old designer has started her career by accident. She was supposed to be a cartoonist or anything else except a farmer. But then she felled in love with jewelry and later with a farmer. As a brand Anna's Darling reflects the owners own mission to create better and more meaningfull jewelry. To consume wisely and only things that last time and can be prepared. Classic lines, precious metals and new design guarantees the jewelrys long life. By combining old goldsmiths techniques and 3d printing the jewelry get their form. By using the Upper-Savo countryside locations benefits it all gets a unique looks and feeling. Clean waters, forests and field are allowed to show in the jewelry. Also their dairy farm beauties, cows, give their own twist for the brand and keep the designers feet tightly in the soil and traditions.

Born and raised in the Dominican Republic having done her designs studies in Milano Italy, Rosadela Serulle started design studio in 2005, her designs are a mixture of tropical and eclectic design, that translates on to any project. As a designer she completely thinks out of the box, to her, clients are the number one priority, their comfort and the importance that they can identify themselves through design. Currently she is described as a designer who melts styles together, conforming a magical space full of artistic elements the client can always enjoy. The importance of choosing less abrasive materials towards the environment is a way she can contribute to society. Even though she has a trademark to each creation, all of the designs are different. She describes that her most important objective is to design a home where all spaces are enjoyable and used, excluding her from those designers that choose to create a museum like residence.

Sinem Hallı is an Istanbul-based designer, researcher, and educator whose work bridges industrial design, sustainability, and brand communication. With a background rooted in design education at Istanbul Technical University and Politecnico di Milano, she has received multiple national and international awards in fields ranging from furniture to packaging. Her research explores sustainability beyond environmental concerns, engaging with cultural, social, and material dimensions—particularly through projects involving glass, food, and brand design. Hallı is also a lecturer and PhD candidate at ITU, and her interdisciplinary approach continues to connect academic inquiry with creative practice, fostering meaningful design narratives across diverse mediums.

Dosun Shin is a Professor of Industrial Design program in The Design School at Arizona State University in the U.S. He holds a BFA in Industrial Design and received a MFA degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in August 2003. Prof. Shin started his design practice from 1999 working both in design consultancies and corporations. Since he arrived at ASU in 2004, he has continued to grow as a design practitioner, researcher, and educator in the discipline of Industrial Design to drive new product innovation through transdisciplinary collaborations. The research Professor Shin has undertaken at Arizona State University is informed by his professional experience and expertise in the area of product design and development. His research activities center on the “humanization of technology”, which seeks to examine current or emerging technologies for responsible product applications with a focus on users who often have been overlooked by the marketplace. He teaches senior and graduate Industrial Design studios, CAD (Computer-aided-design) courses, and digital design technologies. He has published 45 peer-reviewed articles and received 17 research grants from U.S government agencies, universities, and industries since he arrived at ASU in 2004. He is also the winner of 25 design awards and holds 4 U.S patents.
