FEIYANG ZHANG

Feiyang Zhang is an artist and designer based in London and New York. During her undergraduate she was admitted to the fashion department at The Art Institute of Chicago under Nick Cave in 2015. After graduation she worked as freelance designer for Vivenne Tam and Sachin&Babi. Specialised in textile and innovation design including material future, embroidery design and installation art. Feiyang is seeking for opportunities to build a career in the creative field. Living in the world full of creative minds, a huge number of artists dare to create the imagery of possible futures. As an artist who is obsessed with the imagination of utopian and dystopian futures, Feiyang wish to start from the stage of escaping from the reality world, with a reinforced sense of our own body. Navigating through this highly commercial chaotic world, Feiyang want to come back to the basic state of being a human. Thanks to her hobby of creative writing, she often have endless stories in my mind, and many of her designs begin to be based on them.

Simplicity is a good word to define her. She believes that life is to be lived with the utmost authenticity, believes that we go further when we cooperate and care for each other. She is important in the sense that we are all important and this expanded vision makes all the difference. It is by example that we help the World to become a better place, and to set an example it is necessary to be very resilient, demanding, focused, interested, curious, flexible and authentic. Life has already shown her that in the end the most important thing is love and that is why she always try to place love in everything that she does. We think that for that reason we care so much about how we want our products to be responsible to the planet, to human, animal and plant life, lighting is a task of great responsibility because it interferes deeply with everyone's life, it has to be always done with great care. We believe that we are managing to move in this direction, in Portugal it is an area where there is still not much information, where people in general still do not know how important it is to live in spaces where there is a careful and properly prepared lighting. We have been trying to do this awareness work through monitoring and demonstration. We believe that it is really important for the future not only of society but also of the planet, to integrate the awareness-raising part in this area, it is no longer enough to just buy, you need to know what you are buying and buy the right thing . Otherwise, we are contributing to a more polluted planet and less healthy people. They believe that as long as their voice is not audible, their talents will not be visible.

Mohammad Mehdi Najafi was born in the beautiful and artistic city "Esfahan" in Iran in 1998. He completed his education in the best art high school and university in Isfahan. While he was studying at the university, he was working as well. He could establish his studio that is equipped for design services and building prototypes in Isfahan. He believes that people's social behaviors are affected by their environment therefore besides the aesthetics he cares about the audience's sense. He is inspired by natural forms and according to his perspective nature forms have the best connection with audiences and these types of forms are infinite. His honors include three national design awards.

Due to the influence of the living environment, her product design focuses on feelings, trying to make people communicate with the product.
