Kazunori Kiryu

Kazunori Kiryu is a Japanese architect, furniture designer and designer. He is enrolled in Kiryu Construction Co., Ltd., a Japanese company. He designs many residential and commercial facilities. His work is influenced by Japanese architecture and creates simple architecture while making the best use of materials. He incorporates the connection between nature and architecture, which is a characteristic of Japanese architecture, into his work.

Bulgarian architect, Svetoslav Stanislavov, is recognized as one of the most notable figures in the contemporary architecture realm in the country today. In 2012 he founded his own practice, STARH, in the city of Varna, majoring in residential, hospitality and office architecture with wide variety of scale. In 2020 the studio has expanded by opening an office in Sofia as well. In this short time since its founding, STARH, has created an impressive portfolio of completed projects in the country, having recognizable quality in design. The studio has succeeded to positively affect the context with their work. The formula that they use is always striving for balance between aesthetics, functionality and quality in architecture that will last in time. Stepping out from the design comfort zone and experimenting with innovative materials is part of their character. Following these principles, major projects of the studio were born: A3 Advanced Architecture Apartments (2017), Varna Wave (2018), K Residence (2018), BGA Corporate Building (2019), B73 (2021). In recent years, their firm conviction led them to an international acclaim as well. STARH is a laureate in Architecture MasterPrize, Architizer A+ Award, IDA Design Awards, A' Design Awards, BigSEE. In 2018, 2020 and 2022 STARH was nominated for Building of the Year by ArchDaily.

During his years of activity, Mr. Mohammad Rahimizadeh, the founder and principal architect at Kalbod design studio, has designed various projects with a variety of uses and scales. To provide a contemporary alternative to traditional Iranian architecture, we, at Kalbod Design Studio try to respond accurately to challenges of the climatic, economic, political, social, and cultural conditions of each project. In addition to creativity and quality, the Kalbod studio knows the needs and limitations of its projects well and designs beyond nationalities and specialized disciplines, regardless of borders. These projects target atmospheric charisma, emotional urgency, and environmental sustainability already expressed in the design.

CoCo Ree Lemery is a designer of furniture, products, and environments. With a deep commitment to the exploration of craftsmanship, CoCo's work straddles the spheres of Art and Design. Since 2007, she has designed, fabricated and developed theatrical scenery, experiential events, and scenography. Over the course of her career, CoCo has collaborated with highly established design firms, production houses, developers, and artists on large scale projects. In 2017, she launched her first furniture collection, self-producing original lines of contemporary work using recycled materials as the foundation of a form. Currently, CoCo is the lead furniture, lighting, and product designer for Jonathan Adler, a global home decor brand based in NYC. CoCo received her bachelor's degree from Columbia College, studied Studio Art and Design at The Art Institute of Chicago, and has her master's degree from Savannah College of Art & Design. A passionate educator, she has worked with students at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Northwestern University, North Central College, Savannah College of Art & Design, Hope College, and After School Matters. In 2017, CoCo was presented with the Micheal Merritt Emerging Artist Award for Collaboration. Her designs have also been given award-winning recognition from NYCxDESIGN Awards, Pinnacle Awards, International Design Awards, European Product Design Awards, and the JS Kemper Foundation. She currently resides in New York and continues her education through her evolving work and curiosities.
